Review of Bad Boys II (2003) by Lyndon G — 24 Nov 2009
I saw this with a good friend--a girl--who loved it, but despite Will Smith who I simply don't ever find fault with, I couldn't get into the movie. Carnage. Uh... anything else? Michael Bay's name and paws in this porridge explain my trouble with The Island, which had a fabulous 20 minutes before disintegrating to Bad Boys: Dystopia.
Clearly this is a genre I underappreciate. Give me Jackie Chan or even Jean-Claude van Damme, my childhood idol, over these baddies anytime. I'll groan but I'll be happier.
