Review of Bad Boys II (2003) by Baurushan J — 10 Oct 2011
While the first film was successful as a film in general, the second film was kinda weak hit-and-miss type. While the first film was original with it's surprising comedy, it's surprising action and it's surprising thrilling moments, this film lacked in comedy and went with over-the-top line to sound funny, lacked in action that were forgettable and the moments weren't thrilling enough it was like watching a normal cliche movie without it's intensities.
I will say this though, there were two great scenes in this film: one was where this white guy calls Will Smith a nigger. That shows that Michael Bay knew how to keep his over-the-top foul language the same and the second one was where Martin Lawrence hides in a stretcher with a dead naked girl which is probably the only scene I found quite funny.
The intro was changed which made the film sound a little blander but I'll give the film credit as this was Michael Bay's first sequel to his first movie ever. And finally, here's my final score, Bad Boys II gets a 8/10.
