Review of Bad Boy Bubby (1993) by Klavs P — 11 Sep 2010
Although it seems absolutely bizarre and disturbing to begin with, I found this to be a fascinating and ultimately uplifting and engaging journey through the complexities of the human mind and an unflinching portrait of human society and humanity itself.
It is a profoundly interesting study into what it really means to be human - to be gifted with intelligence, consciousness, the ability to give life, the ability to take life, the power to hate and the power to love - and how the human mind can be simple, intricate, grotesque and beautiful all at the same time; going to show that perhaps, whether we want to admit it or not, we're all just big weird kids at heart, and that there's a little bit of Bubby in all of us.
Simply brilliant.
