Review of Backdraft (1991) by Caroline B — 06 Jan 2009
The pioneer of the modern fire effects with a bizzare but suprisingly interesting take on the aforementioned. Portraying the fire as a living beast was certainly a touch meladramatic, but still adds heart to this thriller and helps make it the classic that some of us beleive it to be.
Also one of Hans Zimmer's early scores and still one of his best!
