The special effects here are AMAZING. Seriously. How much money did Ron Howard have? The mystery storyline of the movie was pretty good - I really had no idea what was going to happen in the end. De Niro is in it so it gets points just for that fact.

And Kurt Russell is so genial in everything it is hard not to connect with his character. Unfortunately for this movie the personal relationships are drawn out for too long and are annoying when you keep getting teased with firefighting scenes.
