The ultimate look at firefighters. Ron Howard's Backdraft is a beautifully crafted thriller that takes you deep inside the minds of the men that rescue us. Even though the story at times feels a bit overly melodramatic and forced, it still works.
The cinematography, production design, sound and music are all top notch.
