Review of Backcountry (2015) by Mark S — 20 May 2016
I will not critique the frightening scenes. The couple's relationship and the acting were good, particularly Missy Peregym who has a background as a model rather than an actress. The emotional center of the movie occurs when poor planning brings out the couple's intense, deeper feelings for each other.
It is well-acted and very believable. If you are comparing the movie to The Godfather, it rates 0.1 stars. Otherwise, I feel it rates 3/5..
