Back to the Future Parts II & III both feel like the perfect blueprints on how to do back to back sequels. The criticism I gave to the second and third "Pirates of the Caribbean" was that both movies depend on each other heavily and in order to understand "At World's End" you need to have seen and remember "Dead Man's Chest". Plus there was no way to tell the two apart if you've never seen the movies. "Back to the Future Part III" does rely on part two (since it answers questions that the last movie left), but not to the extent that you are going to be confused. Plus since the movie is set in 1885, it makes it easier to tell it apart from the others.

All of the same praise I gave the first two movies is present in this one, and like part two, it's not flawless. I'm sure other BTTF fans agree with me, but I'm not a fan of Clara Clayton. She is supposed to be the love interest and I just never found her all that interesting. However like the calling Marty a chicken complaint about part two, I don't dislike her and he doesn't hurt the movie.

The movie is good, Robert Zemeckis has done a great job with the series and I'm so happy that Universal hasn't attempted to make a fourth movie. This movie ended the series on such a perfectly strong note that I get the feeling that fans would be unhappy with a fourth movie, even with Zemeckis behind the camera.
