Review of Back to the Future Part III (1990) by Lacy M — 29 Jan 2013
Alright, now we're back to the fun. Where the second installment was clunky and convoluted, this movie is simple. Primarily, it's a fun Western with enough of the time travel from the first film to keep the movie running at a quick pace.
The cast and crew behind the camera are clearly having a good time moving their established world to a completely different setting and letting it breathe. The use of space is great here, and is a welcome change of scenery from the now well-worn sets of the first two films.
The train scene at the end of the film is thrilling and has enough "modern" elements to keep it from feeling too predictable. I'd almost recommend just skipping part II, but some elements of that film tie-in here.
