Review of Back to the Future Part II (1989) by Jamy S — 25 Mar 2012
This movie of the three is one I actually enjoyed the best.
It may not have the same quality of plot like the first or as warm hearted like the third, but I thought it brought more to the table than the rest.
This one, is the only one of the three to have our main heroes travel to not only to the future, but to an alternate present and the past too.
And on top of that, it's the only movie to show the DeLorean flying, as well as having an epic showdown between Marty and Biff in trying to restore the present back to normal.
That is pretty cool if you ask me.
Granted, the plot of Marty having to take his son's place to keep him out of prison is pretty off the wall and not very believable at all, especially since the third movie basically wiped out that hazard at the end with the Doc saying, "Your future is whatever you make it, so make it a good one.".
So yea... Not one of Spielberg's better ideas there.
Nevertheless, the rest of the movie is very entertaining to watch, a true 80's classic to sum it up in one sentence.
