Review of Back to the Future Part II (1989) by Peter L — 10 Sep 2013
Didn't fully understand the direction Zemeckis wanted to go. By rehashing scenes from part 1 and not using it effectively, it sort of took me out of the film. The Biff storyline wasn't interesting and I wasn't invested in it.
Just then when the setting arrived back in the 1950's it got worth watching again. This could have been better given the premise, if the setting would have been kept in the 50's. But, I guess you can't have the same scenes all over again.
Or you can.
