Review of Back to the Future Part II (1989) by Mark F — 24 Jul 2015
This is easily my least favourite of the series and I don't know entirely why. I guess it's partly to do with the cyberpunk, almost dystopian vision of the future which isn't a particularly great place to be.
In fact, the whole first half of the movie - the part set in the future - is a bit messy and ever so slightly depressing. It only gets good when they go back to the 50s again. The way that part intertwines with the first movie is clever.
Overall, give me parts I or III over this one any day though.
