Review of Back to the Future (1985) by Wesley W — 06 Aug 2013
A time travel classic. This movie is filled with many memorable scenes, performances, and amazing storytelling. Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd give fantastic performances and their characters are so memorable and they both have great chemistry together and that is one of the great aspects of the film.
The coversations between Marty and George were really interesting to watch and they have wonderful chemistry as well. The story here is really engaging and it never fails to keep you interested. The movie was also funny at times and it works well as a comedy.
The special effects were groundbreaking for its time and they still hold up nicely today. Alan Silvestri's score is absolutely fantastic and it fills you up with so much cheer and awesomeness and it is one of the best scores ever composed for a film.
Robert Zemeckis directs this film so well and has a good eye on the acting, and the story. I wish that I could have been around during the 80s to see this movie when it first came out. This film is such a masterpiece in movie making history and it is one of my all time favorite films.
