I think the first Back to the future was and should be rated as the top 10 greatest film ever , in any genre ,I know I am bias , because I have watched it the first time when I was 5 ,I loved it then , and I love it now .

it tells the story of hope on so many level , it was written by Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale , Zemeckis was later won an Oscars Best director for forrest gump and this is his first major international success under spielberg's wing.

All the characters in the film was so colourful and unforgettable , and in fact , even though this movie was nomiated a dozen of visual effects awards , but there aren't that many effects , and I believes its not really the effects that makes this movie Great but it was because The story was so well writtens , where theres everything happens in the film was actually meant something , that was so brilliantly mixed with the comedy and the irony in all the plot points .

Back to the future is one of the most powerful film with a positive message for especially younger audience , and can be a great entertinment adventure picture for all ages.
