The line "No, I am your Father" by Darth Vader was the greatest twist that nobody saw coming of any movie ever that is remembered. Sure other movies have twists but they get forgotten. Also it was a twist that made you wait three years till Yoda answered it in Return of the Jedi.
Best cliffhanger ever. Many of us thought Vader was lying. A classic in it's own special way, with the best plot of all six movies.
