Review of Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008) by Pradyut V — 19 Aug 2008

Finally ranbir kapoor is here to stay...n nt coz he's a kapoor..but coz he can pull off an act...real-life lovers pitch in near perfect performances as dis movie delivers wt it promised with dis new romantic comedy frm yashraj.

Direction though wz a disappointment...n siddharth anand is I believe particularly belonging to tat genre f directors who don give a shit abt d movie's second half coz de invariably mess it up..he did tat with salaam namaste.

..n he does it again with bachna ae....nt tat d actors cudnt act ..both ranbir n deepika acted capably..n though bipasha does go overboard at times tat s no excuse for d director for giving such a poor second half after such an interestng first one.

..music is rocking as it sud b for a romantic-comedy made in bollywood but d songs again appear too much messing with d flow f d script..though needless to say..kishore da totally rocks in d title track.

..all in all fun movie to pass ur weekend...if u want to keep it light...
