Review of Baby's Day Out (1994) by Raaj C — 21 Aug 2013
This film was obviously a baby's version of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. It is about a baby lost in a city who is also a typical smart-ass to the "bad guys" that keeps on getting away from them without realizing what the hell he is doing, but only taking rules from a freaking story book.
Seriously, The kid is facing harsh environments that NO ADULTS would stop and help the poor little kid. The concept maybe good, but THAT was a lot better in Home Alone 2. The only god thing that came out of this mockery of film is the just the cuteness of the adorable character that is the baby.
John Hughes is a great comedic writer that knows what he is doing, but the is NOT his best work yet. He should've just stayed with Chris Columbus (Director of Home Alone 1-2 and Harry Potter 1-2).
Now to summarize this, this film is lousy for it's acting, excuse for a story rip off of Home Alone 2, lame puns, and really crappy directing. If you love John Hughes, you will be disappointed, but if you just adore little babies and just sit and look at their cuteness, this is definitely you might want to watch.
Overall, don't waste you're time, trust me, I know.
