I'm totally going to see this! OK, I saw it now... I am a Sci-fi fan so I liked it... the only complaint is that, although the girl (played by Thierry) and Toorop (played by Diesel) did not have sex, their "friendship" was very suggestive.
Only prob is she looked about 17 (& was it was told to us that she was virginal etc.) & Vin Diesel (though he looks good) looks like he's about 47. So I find the old man - little girl concept in Hollywood to be increasingly disturbing.
That's my opinion. I was actually thinking the sparks were more there for Yeoh's character to be in a love interest with Toorop. Ah well... Overall, wasn't a great movie.
