I really liked this film...until the ending. French director Mathieu Kassovitz reportedly stated that the studio cut 70 minutes from the film and changed the ending before the release, maybe that's why it feels like they lost the script near the end and just found a different script lying around and finished the movie with that.

I hope there will be a director's cut DVD coming out that will make this movie as good as it had the potential to be. Should be a much grittier film too as it was originally "R" and it does feel like much of its teeth were removed.
