Review of Babylon (2022) by Kcjohn — 30 Dec 2022

I thought it was fantastic. It was a little long, but I wasn’t bored. I enjoyed the performances of Margot Robbie and Diego Calva. Brad Pitt was pretty much, Brad Pitt, he does well in all of his films.

I will agree this movie is not for everyone. People love popcorn movies, that’s what sells tickets. Historically Oscar winners don’t do particularly well at the box office but are great films. I would not be surprised if this won multiple awards.

I loved the director taking me back to the 20s and 30s movie industry. I loved the atmosphere, costumes, music and the cinematography. My opinion on films is would I want to watch it again and I absolutely would.
