Review of Baby Mama (2008) by Scot C — 16 Sep 2010
"She's havin' a baby, you're payin' the bills. That's a baby mama. Ask any black man in Philadelphia".
The reason I watched this, is because I think Tina Fey is really sharp when it comes to comedy. In this film she is pretty strong, and stands out. But let me just say, that I think pregnant woman, or who have been pregnant would relate more to this film, and probably enjoy it more than what I did. I thought this film was good, but lacked a bit. Its more of a drama than comedy, but with fairly humourous moments. Steve Martin gives an unimpressive cameo, but Greg Kinnear is strong. This film will not set your world on fire, but if there's nothing else on, watch it. But to be fair, I think ask a womans opinion on this movie, and then decide. But either way, watch it anyway if you're into 'chick flicks'.
