Review of Baby Driver (2017) by Rosie C — 23 Jan 2018
As a musical lover this made a boring string of car chases vaguely interesting. I'd still rather watch Mad Max or Moulin Rouge but I get why people like the sequences in this film. A lot of older musical-hating males have told me this is one of the best films they've ever seen, which baffles me.
The most interesting characters are completely sidelined and the best sequences are straight out of a classic musical (Singin in the Rain, springs immediately to mind).
