It certainly wasn't bad and it deserves points for some degree of originality, but it definitely didn't live up to the critical hype. There were a few good action scenes and a few compelling moments.
It was generally well-acted. But it for most of its running time it couldn't decide whether it wanted to be lyrical and cartoonish or gritty and realistic, to its detriment. By the time it settled on a final ten minutes that are just plain cartoonish, I had stopped caring.
Meh.
