Edgar Wright did something different with this film and you can tell from the beginning. The gorgeous blend of music and visuals is stunning, the cast is brilliant, and the story-telling from beginning to end keeps you interested.
Each character is a mystery unto themselves, which keeps you constantly guessing. I enjoyed it very much. I've only ever been disappointed with Wright once before (his choice of Michael Cera in "Scott Pilgrim") but this film simply did NOT disappoint.
I'd recommend it.
