A film that screems "Look at how I can edit!". Way too try-hard, completely unbelievable in any way. The lead character has no real charm, so swinging round lampposts and singing along to his music for most of the film becomes boring and tiresome.
Foxx comes away with credit, as does Hamm. The female characters are appallingly written, and Kevin Spacey was on autopilot (and I love Kevin Spacey). Don't believe the hype folks, its an average film to turn your mind off to.
