Great movie if you love music, car chases and gun exchanges. The best aspect of the movie to me was the brilliant editing, where music and movement are in perfect sync. Yes, it is a gimmick, but I never got tired of it and often put a big grin on my face.

The cast is perfect, first and foremost a hilarious performance by Jamie Foxx, who kills it as mentally sharp and unhinged Bats, but also the romantic leads, whose relationship is very stylized to the point its not exactly realistic, but actually I loved that and had no problem accepting it.

The movie was a rush and I deem it the perfect summer popcorn flick.

Just see it and enjoy. In my opinion anyone not enjoying this movie should check their pulse or indeed is a very very sad person indeed.
