Review of Baby Driver (2017) by Rob W — 24 Jul 2017

I don't know if I've ever had a bigger gulf between what I saw on the screen and the popular opinion of a movie. I've disliked popular movies before, but usually I can see the redeeming qualities despite feeling that it just wasn't for me. Not the case here. I have no idea what I'm missing that other people saw. I do not walk out of movies, but I can't remember a time when I was closer to doing so.

I'll read more reviews and see if I can determine the fatal flaw in my opinion of this movie. However, as it stands I could never recommend this movie, despite loving and respecting many of the actors involved.
