Review of Baby Driver (2017) by Fran C — 06 Jul 2017

Not a bad film. Perfectly fine way to spend a couple of hours at the cinema as it's entertaining and enjoyable but given the reviews I was expecting something life changing. The soundtrack is great but I'm not sure it's worthy of all the online hype.

If you like endless car chase scenes and not a huge amount of dialogue then this is the film for you. Oh and the lead role actor felt totally wrong. I think he's meant to be likeable or charming? At least I assume he is given the waitress was prepared to drop everything to be with him within 5 minutes.

Not the movie for you if you're looking for well written (not just screen candy) female characters either. Other than that is was perfectly fine.
