Review of Baby Driver (2017) by Rfrank H — 30 Jun 2017

The film is billed as a musical but there aren't really any musical numbers and the soundtrack, which I thought would be more modern, was used more as a prop. At times it seemed like music was playing through the entire film.

At the core, the film is actually a heist film and by the time the final heist starts to go down the film starts unraveling and you're left with a failed attempt at plot twist ending that just doesn't make sense.

Not sure why this film is getting such great reviews, maybe because of the director, but I would have expected Spacey and Foxx to sign on to a better film.
