One of Edgar Wright's finest, Baby Driver put the Fast & Furious movies to shame. The action is well-shot and easy to follow, with the diegetic soundtrack making it even better. Ansel Elgort is fantastic as Baby, Jamie Foxx is the perfect amount of crazy as Bats, and Jon Hamm's charismatic performance helps make Buddy one of the most compelling villains of 2017.
The script is intelligently written, and the ending is one of the best of the year.
