Review of Baby Doll (1956) by Julie H — 25 May 2007
This isn't what I would call typical Williams, but after a slow start, it picks up and quite frankly becomes semi-ridiculous. It's overtly sexual (I thought Carroll Baker was going to have an orgasm just from speaking to a guy at one point), which got it banned from most theatres when it was released in '56.
For that reason alone it's worth a viewing.
