Review of Baby Doll (1956) by Stephan J — 19 Nov 2007
Super Classic, Banned in the US for 30 years. THAT's how good it is. Tennessee Williams writes. Elia Kazan directs. Karl Malden, Eli Wallach, Carroll Baker perform. Lust, bigotry, and greed. An intense ALL American film for sure! Right up there with "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolfe.
