Review of Babette's Feast (1987) by Alup S — 27 Dec 2007
It's difficult for me to critique this film. If you tone down the cruel piety and deeply spartan lives, it literally feels like my own childhood experiences with my Grandmothers family. The tale is simple, in fact the film is merely a fable, but the journey is comforting, delicious and rewarding, and I've never been happier after a film.
