Review of Babette's Feast (1987) by Rose A — 02 Jul 2011
The movie has a simple set that plays a good balance to the enriching human experience. Very modest set and cast, but the last scenes of the feast is total grandeur to the eyes. Just watching Stephane Audran cook in style and lay down a feast in sheer gratitude is exquisite.
A beautiful depiction of how Mercy and Truth come together.
