Review of Babes in Toyland (1934) by Jason R — 11 May 2012
The best of the Babes in Toyland adaptation. It looks good too for its age and has a bit of German expressionism film look to it. The problem with March of the Wooden Soldiers is the problem with Babes in Toyland.
..it isn't a very good story. Here at least the movie is visually entertaining and Laurel and Hardy bring their Laurel and Hardy gag routines to the story.
