Review of Babel (2006) by Hanta T — 24 Jul 2010
It's a boring movie for slow thinkers, but for those who love to be in suspense, and dwell on the deep meanings of movies and the storyline; this is a great movie. I love films that connect the dots and somehow have the audience think they're smart because they're unravelling it in their heads along the way.
Kinda like a Nancy Drew/Scooby Doo mystery, trying to fit the pieces of the puzzle, and personally inwardly reward yourself for figuring out the right culprit. Well this movie is a little more complex than that- but it's enjoyable to see the different cultures, and issues play out to come together at the end.
