Review of Babel (2006) by Cameron J — 27 Mar 2011
My fellow Americans, patriotism is not in the emphasis of our great power and proud history, but rather the emphasis of how messed up the rest of this big green galactic ball called Earth is. God bless America.
But enough about that. Offbeat and well-directed, "Babel" outshines dragging, inconsistancies, a deal of unlikeable characters and some discomforting honesty with the powerful stories, excellent character chemistry, solid performances, good soundtrack and beautiful cenimatography that make it a sharp anthology made up of fascinating looks at the various struggles of the people throughout the world.
