Review of Babel (2006) by Arpita S — 07 May 2011
This is a beautiful film about the stories of four people who are all connected in some way. It's very real and brings tears to your eyes in some of the scenes. There's a scene with a deaf Japanese girl who is at a club with her friends and a guy she likes.
She's dancing and sees her friend kiss that guy and during the scene it is silent to show you her point of view since she can't hear. It just felt real and I could really understand her emotions.
Great director, great performances, great film.
