Review of Babel (2006) by Ambrus V — 07 Mar 2013
This very serious exploration of how we communicate and effect each other has some excellent storylines. Two of the four interconnected stories (the deaf Japanese girl; the brothers and the rifle) are touching and powerful.
The other two (the stranded American couple; their nanny crossing the Mexican border) are a tad boring. A memorable film, but one viewing is enough.
