"No villains, only victims" is right. The antagonist is the situations our characters find themselves in. 4 separate depressing stories that tie together. Predictable and way too melodramatic.
Well done in a technical sense, but it's a love it/hate it script. Too pretentious. I tried to like it, tried to feel, but nope, wasn't happening.
