Review of Babel (2006) by Peter M — 06 Jun 2011
This film is a masterpiece of cinematography. Whilst there are some (and very few at that) unnecessary and revolting scenes, each of the plot lines is thoroughly gripping and complementary to the other.
The main character of the Tokyo scenes is a wonderful actress, whilst each and every one of the settings are breathtaking, and exquisitely shot. In addition, the soundtrack is a fabulous accompaniment to the film throughout.
Highly recommended, especially the Blu-Ray edition to see the magnificent locations in their full glory.
