Review of Babel (2006) by Patrick B — 21 Mar 2012
Alejandro González Iñárritu teams up with his screenwriter Guillermo Arriaga Jordan once again to deliver another hyperlink-styled story than other than unfolding within one town, or a group of people, but rather the entire planet Earth.
While giving us enthralling stories, each developed to it's own merit, and great, great performances, we also get tastes of some world cultures that we would otherwise have to search out foreign films to see.
Babel tackles perhaps one of the most used, yet never worn-down themes of death to drive the story, and ends up a masterpiece of modern cinema.
