Eh. This is a decent film but nothing earth shattering. I didn't feel very invested in any of the characters. The Japanese deaf/mute girl story was the most interesting and visually pleasing. The movie is long and it feels long.
I'm not sure how this got nominated for best picture other than the Brad Pitt sphere of influence.
