Review of Babel (2006) by Steven L — 15 Apr 2013
The story structure that interweaves multiple plot lines is fresh and edited beautifully. Inarritu is a master of this unconventional style. Most characters were engaging and real, however the pace of Kikuchi's scenes could have been turned up a notch as her story doesn't relate as strongly to the film's core inciting incident.
Beautifully shot, extraordinarily directed, combined with performances that will break your heart.
