Review of Babe: Pig in the City (1998) by Lidia ? — 13 Aug 2009
This sequel is much much grittier and even a little depressing. It is pherhaps truer to George Miller's vision than the first one was, since this seems to be more in line with his other films. It is less accesible than the first one, but it boasts a lot of hard work and talent.
A chase sequence involving a truck and a dog with wheels for its hind legs is beautifully weird. And the climax featuring a woman bouncing around a great hall, is really bizzare. Actually, its really worth checking out.
There are alot interesting things going on here.
