Great movie that stays true to the spirit of the original manga. Ryuhei Kitamura proves that he isn't a one trick pony and brings his visual flair for action sequences. Along with solid supporting actors Aya Ueto does a remarkable job playing the role of Azumi.
Ninja film fans, Versus fans, or action film fans should find plenty to love here.
