Review of Away We Go (2009) by Jamison S — 06 Jun 2010
THE BEST: John Krasinski Character in this film was amazingly good. I loved watching him from beginning to end. Jeff Daniels was terrific as well in the short part that he had.
THE GOOD: The story was very good. It was funny and entertaining. The different characters that you meet throughout their journey was great to see. Especially Maggie Gyllenhaal's character. The music was also good in this film.
THE BAD: It started to lose its momentum toward the end of the film. It wasn't all that bad though.
THE UGLY: Nothing too ugly about this film.
THE VERDICT: A pleasant surprise of a film. The acting was terrific and the story was moving. I knew I was going to like this film from the opening scene. I was always looking forward to what was going to happen in the next city. What the different people were like. Where were they going to choose to live? I loved the chemistry between the two main actors. I wish everybody in the world can be more like them. I highly recommend it.
THE BONUS: Are you a fan of the Office? Since this film stars John Krasinski, one of the many stars of the Office, who's your favorite character of this great t.v series? Mine is Kevin. Dwight is a close second. I just love how Kevin talks.
