The reason I love this movie so much is less about how its as close to perfect filmmaking as you can get and more about how personal I find this story. The characters in this movie are still stuck in their immature, irresponsible ways, essentially having never truly grown up. They are insecure about what the future holds and they know they need to change fast because they are about to be responsible for a child. So they set out on a journey that takes them into the company of several people, who each parent differently and who half are horrible parents. They are given advice, some of it good, some bad.

I feel that I am going through similar circumstances. Not with a child, but with other responsibilities. About to graduate with a Masters Degree and being forced into the work force right on the cusp of getting married. My fiancee and I find this movie as such high inspiration of our life to come. This is why I enjoy the movie so much. Because in the film is an overall theme of growing up and accepting responsibility in the midst of a real world with real problems.

That and the movie is uproariously funny :D.
