So there were times when I really didn't want to like this film. At times, some of the characters and the situations were a little too ridiculous to try and take seriously. It was the performances of both Krasinski and Rudolph that held this film together, even when things started to take a turn for the ridiculous.

Those two together really carried this movie, especially during the early stages where the ridiculous was a little too much of that. However, this film did reveal a lot of heart towards the end and that's where the couple really shined, especially so during that whole trampoline scene.

That was so heart warming and touching that it even made the ridiculousness of the early part of the film seem like an necessary evil to be able to achieve a moment like that. It seemed so genuine and believable that you had to care about what the characters were going through and what they were feeling.

It was truly great work by them and I'm almost as shocked as I am pleased by their performances because I didn't believe they could really work but they proved me wrong and boy am I glad for that.
