Review of Away We Go (2009) by Tom W — 23 Mar 2010
I could write pages about the wonderful qualities of this movie, but I'll try not to. I had almost forgotten what it is like to fall with a good film, and Away We Go definitely made me fall in love - a part of that was definitely that I saw it alone which made it an especially intimate and emotional experience, but that doesn't take anything away from the cinematic credits and acting performances of the film.
It is very rare that almost all the components of a film match and are of the same high quality. Crazy, funny, dramatic, lovely. It truly is the love that keeps it together.
